I was at my grandparents house and I was brainstorming ideas for an AIM screenname.
If you don't know AIM, it was the 1990s version of Instagram, minus posting pictures. It was a safe place for friends to communicate with eachother...and sometimes questionable stranger lol - ASL?
My grandfather suggested something along the lines of 101 Dalmatians. And so it stuck. I combined my small stature with a popular disney movie.
There's not much else to that story except that the screenname stuck with me for years.
Through posting lyrics on my away messages, posting questionable IMs with my friends that got me in SERIOUS trouble
and nights pining over my crush to come back from "brb" mode. lol.Even though AIM is no longer with us, I choose to keep that piece of my childhood with me. My screenname. <3
